The Old Rizal Memorial District Hospital

- Built by the Americans and dedicated it to Dr. Jose P. Rizal;
- Its construction significantly started on December 30, 1916 - the 20th death anniversary of Rizal;
- It served the Dapitanons and patients from neighboring places for 75 years until 1991;and
- Presently the Sangguniang Panlungsod Building.

Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital (DJRMH) is the only retained DOH - Hospital in Zamboanga del Norte. It is located at Lawaan, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte.
